Cousine Island, Seychelles
Cousine Island, one of the smaller granitic islands, is a private nature reserve, home to five of the Seychelles endemic birds as well as a variety of other flora and fauna. It offers an idyllic island experience with complete exclusivity and privacy found in very few other places on earth. A maximum of ten guests are accommodated at anyone time and the four individual villas nestle amongst the natural vegetation just thirty metres from the beach. The villas all have spacious bedrooms, a separate lounge, large bathroom with whirlpool as well as an indoor and outdoor shower, and front and rear patios. The Pavilion comprises an open-plan dining room, bar, lounge and library overlooking a large freshwater swimming pool. Cousine Island is not for those seeking nightlife and organized activities, but rather a natural haven for those seeking peace and tranquility.
Location: Six kilometres off the west coast of Praslin.
Transfer Times: By helicopter - 15 minutes from Mahe or 5 minutes from Praslin.
