We are huge fans of the fabulous Heritage Golf & Spa Resort on the paradise island
of Mauritius. A luxurious resort located between sea and mountain, in the midst

Golf
This spectacular 18-hole golf course designed by the South African architect Peter
Matkovitch, is built on more than 100 acres of land, amidst an exceptional natural
environment between the mountains and the sea. Green fees are included in the All Inclusive package, buggies are optional and cost approx. £30 per person.
(daily green fee included in 2011 and unlimited green fees from Feb 2012) We have played this course many times since it
opened and it is absolutely superb. The first few holes are pretty difficult if
the prevailing breeze is in your face but at the same time it is a fair course and
offers a good experience to players of all levels. There is also a 9-hole ‘mashie’
course ideal for beginners.
Each hole can be played in a variety of ways some of which entail a greater degree
of risk than others. Those who successfully accept the challenge are rewarded.

Paradis Golf Course, a very scenic 18-hole Par 72, 5,899-metre
course, nestled between the magnificent Le Morne mountain and the crystal-clear
lagoon (20 minutes from Heritage)

The resort has 300 meters of white soft sand beach and the beauty of a turquoise
lagoon. The waves break over the coral reef making for safe bathing.

Villa with Private Pool (310 sq. m)
The Villa is an amazing haven of comfort and serenity and has 2 rooms with en-suite
bathrooms, a child’s room and bathroom, a living room and a dining room. To add
to the perfection of this “Out of Africa” environment there is a private swimming
pool in which guests can enjoy a tropical swim and revel in the flaming colours
of the setting sun. A butler looks after all your needs. We have stayed in the villa
and can very highly recommend it.
Restaurants
Guests at Heritage Le Telfair and Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resorts have access to a fantastic selection of restaurants at both resorts - offering something different to delight the palate every night.
Balafon
The main restaurant will serve buffet breakfasts and dinner.
Infinity Blue
The beach restaurant for light Mediterranean dishes for lunch and seafood specials in the evening.
Amafrooty
The snack bar by the pool for light meals at lunch time. Open from noon to 5pm for salads, paninis and sandwiches and from 4pm – 6pm for pancakes.
Seven Colours Energy Cuisine
A zen inspired innovative culinary experience inspired by the Seven Colours concept, presented as various “colours” menus symbolising the 7 chakras. Open from 7pm to 10.30pm, service is 'a la carte' and reservation is required.

Le Château of Bel Ombre
The antique wood panelling and the huge surrounding veranda create an intimate ambiance to savour cocktails, tea or even typical Mauritian meals with game or palm heart. This restaurant is not in the 'All inclusive' package. (5mins away).
The Golf Club Restaurant & Bar
The perfect place to enjoy a light meal before or after a round of golf. Bar opens from 6:45am to 7pm; Restaurant from 8am to 5:30pm.
Zenzi-Bar
A casual lounge-bar located amongst the interlaced pools and with an unrivalled view over the lagoon. Open from 10am to midnight, lunch from noon to 5pm.
Gin'ja At Neighbouring Le Telfair
Guests from Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort benefit from a privileged access to the GIN'JA, an Pan Asian Fusion restaurant elegantly poised on the waters edge of the pristine lagoon of the South and along the Citronnier River.

Sports Centre
For sports fans or those looking for an active holiday, an outdoor area of more
than 3,500 m2 is dedicated to sporting activities. The new 750 m2 UMUZI fitness
centre which forms part of this, is comprised of two spaces, cardio and weight training
– with state of the art gym equipment. The centre also offers activities for adolescents
of 12 to 17 years.

The New C Beach Club
The new C Beach Club is now open. Located close to Heritage Le Telfair, it consists of a lounge bar, two restaurants, a pool, a playground and a space for teens with Wii consoles, pool tables, Wi-Fi etc. With its trendy and contemporary design it is perfect for relaxing and enjoyment, both day and night.
The activities centre caters for teenagers of 12 to 17 years old with a programme
of activities specially designed for teens.
Mini-Club
The Timomo miniclub welcomes children aged from 3 to 11 years old and has numerous
supervised activities. Open air games and indoor activities are organised daily.
Open every day from 8:30am to 11pm. A babysitting service is available on request
(with extra charge).
