Meet and greet at Heathrow Airport for those who will be flying with us on the same flight to Johannesburg Airport
We arrive early morning at Johannesburg Airport. At the airport we will have an hour or so to freshen up, have a coffee, visit the ATM/exchange bureau, shops and if needed to get connected with a local air time provider. We will then depart to our venue; Zebula and this will only be a two hour journey. At Zebula we will have lunch and have the afternoon to relax or join the chipping clinic with Nico late afternoon.
After breakfast we will a quick practise session on the range followed by 18 holes at the lovely Zebula Golf and Country Club. This is one course that you will leave you breathless every time with the surroundings of the Waterberg Mountains and with the presence of the great wild life on the course. This will be our home course during our stay and you have the luxury to enjoy it even more with great views from the Bush lodges that opens up to the fairways of the course. After the golf and a few beverages at the beautiful Zebula`s club house we will have another golf clinic in the late afternoon to brush up on those rusty golf swings.
After breakfast we will depart Zebula for a 40min drive to Elements Private Golf Reserve, recently rated one of the Top 10 Golf Courses of South Africa. This is my favourite Golf Course in the world and I always look forward to Elements. This stunning estate is a very private estate and with the surrounding bushveld terrain with mountain views and the game species you will soon know why this course becomes everyone's favourite. On arrival back at Zebula you will have time to relax before another golf lesson session on the range with Mr Els.
This is your first day where you can sleep in and relax until the Safari drive in the afternoon. The Safari drive starts after lunch and takes about three hours. This will be a short drive into the game lands of Mabalingwe Game Reserve, so don't forget your cameras and your binoculars for this exiting venture. Mabalingwe covers more than 12 500 hectares of scenic rolling hills and is home of the big 5, namely lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard. And for the golf fanatics there will be a golf practice session in the morning and another golf clinic after the Safari experience.
This will be another relaxing day where you can sleep in and relax in the 5 star facilities of Zebula until the Interaction with Elephants after lunch. This is a once in a lifetime experience and one not to be missed. You will get to interact and touch the Elephants and learn more about these amazing animals just outside the gates of Zebula. This is normally an hour session, however for those who would like to go swimming with the Elephants it could take up to two hours. After your exciting experience with the African Elephants we will go back to Zebula for your massage at the Zebu Spa.
After an early breakfast we will depart to Korro Creek Golf Estate and this will only be a 35min drive to the Town called Nylstroom (Modimolle). This little town is famous for its export of quality grapes and fruit and some called it the Gateway to Africa's Eden. Koro Creek Bushveld Golf Estate is a championship course, run by a professional outfit, where hospitality and the warm bushveld affability are custodians for good old golf etiquette. This will be one of your toughest course you will play on tour, but a great challenge and one that most enjoys. After enjoying a few drinks after at the lovely club house at Korro Creek we will return to Zebula and get ready for a Traditional African meal at the Boma.
After breakfast we will take on our home course again after a few lessons on the driving range. You will probably have the round of your life by now after so much lessons and golf already and with the warm African sun and the beautiful surroundings, you will just be inspired to play well. After another exciting golf day at Zebula we will have some time to relax before Nico prepares for a top class putting lesson followed by the Friday night Cheetah run at Zebula where you can witness the great speed that these amazing animals can get up too. You will also have lots of opportunities to interact with the Cheetahs during your stay at Zebula.
After an early breakfast we will depart to Euphoria Golf Estate. This fantastic Golf Course is in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains and features an 18 hole Championship Golf Course that was designed by Annika Sorenstam and provides a perfect links like bushveld experience. At Euphoria the greens are notorious for being very fast, so hopefully that putting lesson will come into play. Euphoria Golf Estate is also distinguished by a cableway which links the club house to the mountain estate and Sundowner Deck Restaurant, the perfect setting to admire the landscape from the mountain whilst enjoying a cold one after a warm day of playing golf. On the return journey back to Zebula we will stop at a local Pad Stall where you can purchase or just have a look at the local crafts and gifts. This will be our last evening and this is an evening where the prize giving will take place followed by fun and jokes around the fire.
On our last day we can enjoy a late check out at 12:00 before we return to Johannesburg Airport after Lunch. For the golf fanatics, you can play a quick last round of golf in the morning at Zebula. Please note that Zebula has endless other activities available from Interaction with lions and tiger cubs to the leisure facilities of the swimming pools, gym, tennis courts, cycling and safari with quad bikes so you can have even more fun whilst enjoying your African experience.
