I'm Jacques Gous a South African Golf Professional who has been living in the UK since 2000. Whilst I love living over here I am very proud of my home country and I would love you to join me on one of my escorted tours. In addition to the golf you can also interact with elephants, ride an ostrich and explore ancient caves as well as go up the world famous Table Mountain.

Enjoy a group lunch where Jacques will address you and answer any of your questions. The rest of the day will be spent relaxing at the Waterfront and in the evening we can all enjoy a Sundowner
Day 3: Erinvale Golf Club & the Winelands
In the morning we will play at Erinvale in the Winelands. Nestled at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains is one of South Africa's greatest golfing challenges. This is a course of 2 different nines; the front nine is on the flat whereas the back nine climbs the slopes of the mountain. The course boasts some challenging holes and its signature hole is the par-four 17 which falls away downhill. The scenery itself is breathtaking with wonderful mountain and sea views for you to enjoy.
After the golf Jacques will give you the opportunity to choose between visiting the winery of Morgenhof in Stellenbosch or just relaxing with a nice meal at the "Big Easy", which is the first restaurant that Ernie Els opened in South Africa. You could even visit Ernie's own wine farm.
Day 4: Pearl Valley Golf Club
Pearl Valley Golf Course is located near Franschoek and Paarl, two of South Africa's most famous wine-land towns. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards the course was designed to blend into its natural environment and has hosted the South African Open. The course itself is visually amazing with lush and green fairways and bunkers filled with white river sand. Every hole enjoys a spectacular backdrop and whilst the course has several challenging holes it can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels.
After golf we return to Cape Town and if it's not cloudy we'll go up Table Mountain where we can go and enjoy superb views from this remarkable landmark. Otherwise we will visit Boulders Beach and spend some time with the penguins and here you can take some memorable photographs.
Day 5: Travel to George
We leave Cape Town for the beautiful town of George. On our way we stop at some of the local farm stalls and just enjoy the unique scenery. We can stop at Cape Agulhas to view the southern most tip of Africa. After this we'll have lunch at Riversdal or Swellendam where you can enjoy the local cuisine.
When you get to George you will stay at the Protea Hotel King George for 3 nights.
Day 6: George Golf Club
Today play at George Golf Club nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua mountains. This is a user friendly course that offers unparalleled natural beauty and is designed to challenge any golfer. George Golf Club is among the oldest courses in the country and has for many years maintained a worthy rating amongst the top ten golf courses in South Africa.
This course comes highly recommended and is generally in peak condition. The main attraction of this course has always been its natural beauty, enhanced by lavish flora and the mountainous backdrop in view on every hole.
In the evening the coastal town of Wilderness awaits where you can enjoy the scenic beach and a sea food restaurant.
Day 7: The Outeniqua course at Fancourt
Outeniqua is one of two majestic 18-hole parkland layouts at Fancourt. Designed by legendary Grand Slam golfer Gary Player, it is similar in character to its sibling Montagu, and its challenging design and fine conditioning will ensure an excellent test for all levels of golfers. As with all courses at Fancourt, there are a variety of tees from which to choose to play, ensuring that golfers are unlikely to ever feel overpowered by the course. To improve your playing enjoyment and to ensure a steady pace-of-play, it is mandatory for at least two caddies to accompany each four ball, and one caddy per two ball.
We will follow the golf with a visit to the town of Oudtshoorn where we can visit the Cango Caves and the High Noon Ostrich Farm.
Day 8: On to Knysna
Today we move along the Garden Route to the picturesque town of Knysna where we will move into our final hotel, the Protea Knysna Quays which is situated on the Knysna Lagoon. After booking in we can drive to the Knysna Elephant sanctuary where you will have the wonderful opportunity to feed, touch and interact with this giant mammal like you never thought you could.
The evening will be spent on the John Benn, a floating restaurant on the Knysna Lagoon.
Day 9: Pezula Golf Club
Another day, another amazing golf course! The Pezula Championship Golf Course stretches a vast 254 hectares over the Knysna cliff-tops offering breath-taking views of the Knysna Lagoon and Indian Ocean below. The multi award-winning golf course is designed to include a full range of shots, makes it a challenging, rewarding and complete golf experience for players of all levels. The signature holes have been earmarked as holes number 13 and 14. This stunningly beautiful course of sweeping fairways and greens also boasts over 200 species of bird, antelope and other wildlife. Take a drive in the afternoon to the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay for another stunning location that offers wonderful beaches, restaurants and scenic wonders.
Day 10: Simola Golf Club
An enjoyable round is guaranteed at Simola which is the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course on the Garden Route and boasts spectacular scenery. A great bonus that differentiates Simola from other coastal courses is that it is protected from the wind that so often plagues coastal courses as it is set below high ridges. From every hole, one is spoilt with magnificent views, either out across Knysna Lagoon to the Heads or over the picturesque Knysna River, gently snaking through the valley below. Simola is a user-friendly golf course, unique in that it boasts five par 3's and five par 5's. You can spend the afternoon enjoying what Knysna has to offer.
Day 11: Homeward bound....
Today we will drive back to Cape Town and fly home. Optional extensions can easily be arranged including going on safari, playing at Sun City or enjoying a few more days in Cape Town, the Winelands or even going on to Mauritius before flying home.
