The two courses at Primm Valley offer a stark contrast to each other. The Desert is true to its name and features a true desert feeling with beautiful desert landscaping accented by palm and mesquite trees, colorful cactus, and stunning desert wildflowers. Although water does come into play somewhat, the majority of trouble is found in the way of waste bunkers that border many holes. Players are challenged throughout the round by narrow fairways with interesting elevation changes and large, well-bunkered greens.
