    Much has been written about the exceptional MONUMENT COURSE at Troon North designed by the Weiskopf/ Morrish team. Along with the PINNACLE COURSE by Weiskopf alone, the 36-hole complex has received 11 awards, has hosted several world-class tournaments, and is respected by all levels of players. The Monument from the tips is 7,028 yards, but multiple tees allow players to choose the length they enjoy. The Pinnacle is equally brilliant, and a captivating track to test any skill.

    The Raptor is 18 holes by Tom Fazio with Crenshaw Bent-grass greens and one of the finest desert layouts in the valley. It offers tremendous views of the desert and surrounding foothills and should not be missed during a visit to Arizona.

    The Talon hosted the 1997 Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf and is a perfect example of desert golf. It has water on only three holes; however, the par-3 17th has an island green that you won't soon forget.     One of Scottsdale's most outstanding facilities, Legend Trail winds through the Sonoran Desert with breathtaking views of Pinnacle Peak. Course designer Rees Jones has done a fantastic job of balancing the layout to create a fair test for less experienced players while also providing a formidable challenge for the more accomplished player. A wonderful clubhouse houses one of America's top 100 golf shops along with the Trails End Grill, which serves their own famous Breakfast Burrito.

    Acclaimed golf course architect Randy Heckenkemper transformed the Bureau of Reclamation's storm water retention area located on the western slope of the McDowell Mountains into one of the premier Scottsdale golf courses, McDowell Mountain Golf Club at WestWorld.     Since it opened in 1996, Kierland has been applauded as one the best courses in the desert. Scott Miller's dynamic 27-hole design challenges the golfer with changes in elevation, more than 300 bunkers, dry desert washes, stands of desert trees, and a variety of water hazards.
