Danny McAuliffe
Head of Partnerships
I responsible for creating & managing our partnerships with tourism boards, hotels/hotel groups, destinations & DMC's. I also look after a select group of Influencers & celebrities. I look after everything that involves partnerships along with the support of a team dedicated to promoting, continuously driving awareness and most importantly, pushing/converting sales to a destination.
How long have you been working here?
Just over a month - Feel free to say longer aha!
What is your usual day/week like?
You can find me either on the road, on the golf course or on Google meets networking, talking and building relationships with my clients. My day to day changes every week depending on what trade show I am attending, golf event, awards night or just meeting with our clients for a catch up. In this role you have to be reactive, forward thinking and prepared to work hard as everyday is different.
What is your favourite thing about working at GTG?
So far, the people I work with & the people I get to meet. It sounds cheesy but it's true. I have always said the best part of working in many of the roles I have worked in for the past 8 - 10 years is the people I meet and the relationships I have created. Golf Travel Group is no different, it's hard work but it's fun, comes with lots of perks and most importantly is a business that is forever growing and forever adapting and I love that.
If you play golf, what is your favourite course to play and why?
Saadiyat Beach Club in Abu Dhabi - It is an incredible track, with incredible views in an incredible place. The course is immaculate and the facilities even more so, the best place I have played golf in my very short golfing career.

Since retiring from professional golf and now working in the travel industry, it has been my passion to share that first hand experience and create special golfing experiences for GTG customers.
