Camiral a Quinta do Lago Resort

Camiral a Quinta do Lago Resort

It incorporates two established championship-standard golf courses located near the picturesque town of Girona, Spain.

This infrastructure includes two world-class golf courses - a Stadium course, recently voted the No.1 course in Spain for the third year in a row, and more gentle Tour course - a Golf Clubhouse, a Membership Clubhouse with private lounge, restaurant, and an exceptional Residents Club for owners, complete with indoor and outdoor swimming pool & children's pool, indoor spa pool, tennis courts, fitness centre and treatment rooms.

Shrewdly designed, Camiral a Quinta do Lago Resort also represents the next generation of luxury property development; a low-density project set among 300 hectares of mature forested woodland, the private residences blend with their natural surroundings and are exceptionally finished with open-plan layouts and innovative use of glass that brings the outside in without compromising on privacy.

Championing both award-winning and up-and-coming national and international architects with a cutting-edge design concept that makes the most of the resort’s beautiful surroundings, the spacious villas, semi-detached villas, and apartments epitomise contemporary living and luxury lifestyle. Expansive villa plots are also available for purchase. In addition, Camiral Golf & Wellness benefits from a superb location with two world-class golf courses on the doorstep that are consistently voted among the best in the world, as well as the cultural and gastronomic meccas of Barcelona and Girona close by. It is a formula that is proving attractive to international savvy buyers.

Our Recommended Courses

Stadium Course

This spectacular and imposing course has been consistently ranked among the best ten golf courses in Europe. As the venue for the 2031 Ryder Cup, it is also routinely singled out for praise from the professional playing fraternity.

Be warned, however the beauty of the course can distract from the many dangers waiting to do serious damage to your scorecard.  It makes no concessions with its trees pressing onto fairways, strategically placed bunkers and the lakes that come into play on no fewer than seven of the toughest holes.

Tour Course

For a slighlty less sturn chalenge turn to the equally beautiful but kinder Tour Course. Dominated by pine trees and lakes, the course is shorter and a little less difficult to play than the Stadium Course, yet the Ángel Gallardo and Neil Coles design ensures that it remains a challenge for every level of player. Most of the holes feature wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers, which can be forgiving of a less than perfect shot. Another feature sure to focus the mind is that it seems you are never far from a water hazard. There is no question that the Tour Course is a worthy challenge. The prestige of this remarkable Golf course was born through its status as co-host of the European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage since 2008. This is a quality that keeps players returning time and again to test themselves. It is rare to find so many memorable holes on one course and despite the many ups and downs, tees are elevated and very few fairways are uphill. The stunning dogleg of hole 6 is one of them and it demands nothing less than a driver and total commitment.
