Our Recommended Courses

The Stadium Course, PGA West

When golf enthusiasts think of PGA WEST®, it is often the Pete Dye Stadium Course that first comes to mind. Rated by Golf Digest as one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses" (2023-2024), there may be no greater challenge or excitement in the game of golf. At 7,300 yards, the Stadium Course has the highest stroke (76.1) and slope (150) ratings of all the courses at PGA WEST®. With five sets of tees, the Stadium is playable for all skill levels.

The Stadium Course plays host to The American Express™, a highly anticipated, charitable PGA Tour event held annually in January. The Stadium is also host course for the PGA TOUR "Q-School" Finals every other year.

Golf course architect Tim Liddy, who boasts nearly three decades of experience working with the legendary Dye, is helming a phased restoration of course.

The Mountain Course

Typical to many Pete Dye course designs, the Mountain Course is a serious challenge to all golfers thanks to pot bunkers, rock formations and significant elevation changes that make club selection very difficult. The stunning views of the surrounding landscape are evident from all over the course but to truly appreciate their magnificence you must wait until you arrive on the raised 16th tee.

The Dunes Course

The visual drama of the landscape and the sheer beauty of the desert showcase the Dunes Course which is situated at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Pete Dye added a twist to the traditional Scottish approach for this links-style course. It favors accuracy from the tee and rewards carefully executed approach shots to its well-guarded greens.

Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course

Jack Nicklaus needs no introduction and in recent years it has become evident that his ability on the golf course has translated perfectly into skills as a course architect. His Tournament course in Palm Springs is one of his finest efforts and the breathtaking backdrop compliments the challenging layout perfectly. Like many Nicklaus designs, the fairways are generous and allow the golfer to attack off the tee. From there, an emphasis is placed on precision as many raised greens will punish errant approach shots and make getting up and down for par a tricky proposition.

Norman Course

Not to be outdone, Greg Norman has also created a beautiful and enjoyable desert layout that rivals any of its neighbouring courses. Featuring great swathes of sand, sage and awash with colourful wild flowers, this course is well protected by nine lakes and as such precision is the key to a good score. The Shark’s course is more exposed than its neighbours and subsequently boasts the most stunning panoramic views to be found anywhere in the Coachella Valley.
