You will experience the best of what South Africa has to offer, from the vibrant city of Cape Town, the wonderful Winelands, the Big 5 on Safari and finally, playing the Number 1 golf course in South Africa, Links at Fancourt.
The tour is fully guided and we have arranged Golf Clinics before 8 of the 9 rounds of golf which will be hosted by certified PGA Pros who will also give the group a presentation on the course you are about to play.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Join tour in Cape Town
Our tour starts today in Cape Town, arguably the most beautiful city in the world. It is the playground of leisure lovers, adventurers and jetsetters alike. Famed for its flat-topped mountain (voted one of the New7Wonders of Nature, no less!), white sandy beaches, bountiful vineyards, waddling penguins and a bustling waterfront, it’s not hard to see why our Mother City repeatedly ranks among the best cities in the world.
After meeting your guide at Cape Town International Airport, we will transfer you to The V & A Waterfront, a bustling harbor precinct, that combines shopping, dining, entertainment, and stunning views of Table Mountain, encapsulating the vibrant spirit of Cape Town.
Check in at The Commodore Hotel and have an afternoon at leisure before you meet the rest of the group at the 'Welcome Dinner' in your hotel.
Day 2
Play golf at Royal Cape Golf Club Transfer from your hotel to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to tee off, check in at the Pro Shop, grab a refreshment or warm up for your game before you experience the charm of South Africa’s oldest golf course. In the shadow of Table Mountain lies the Royal Cape Golf Club, established in 1885. The current hosts of the Cape Town Open and 10 previous South African Opens.
Day 3
Play golf at Steenberg Transfer from your hotel to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to tee off, check in at the Pro Shop, grab a refreshment or warm up for your game. Steenberg, with its long and noble history, spectacular winery, five-star hotel and spa, and 18-hole Golf Course, is unique – and the perfect setting for the Steenberg Experience.
Located in the beautiful Constantia Valley, with the spectacular icon of Table Mountain as its backdrop, Steenberg Estate is a must-visit destination with a must-play golf course. When you arrive at the gates and drive past the vineyards and ancient oaks, you are entering a world that goes well beyond golf. After golf, freshen up before we enjoy a Wine Tasting & Dinner at Steenberg Winery & Bistro.
Day 4
Depart for Stellenbosch and play golf at De Zalze Check-out of your hotel and transfer from your hotel to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to tee off, check in at the Pro Shop, grab a refreshment or warm up for your game at De Zalze. De Zalze is one of South Africa’s most scenic golf estates, enjoying a beautiful setting outside Stellenbosch, with mountains as a backdrop. The clubhouse terrace, with fine views over the soft rolling countryside, is a popular spot for golfers and home owners to relax and socialise.
The white-walled homes with their high pitches and gables exude a distinct architectural character. The Blaauwklippen River runs through the property, and there are two magnificent storage dams, one on each nine, which add to the aesthetics of the golf course.
After golf, we check in at Southern Sun de Wagen, an elegant boutique hotel in the heart of South Africa’s most famous wine region. A collection of historic farmstead buildings dating back to the early 1900s have been restored and re-imagined to create a unique and charming boutique hotel in Stellenbosch.
Day 5
Play golf at Pearl Valley Transfer from your hotel to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to tee off, check in at the Pro Shop, grab a refreshment or warm up for your game at Pearl Valley. As the name implies, the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course truly bears the stamp of the world’s preeminent golf course designer.
South Africa’s Top 100 Golf Courses, the definitive golf course ranking, placed the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course as the third best in the country for 2022. For six consecutive years Complete Golfer bestowed the Five Star Experience Award on the course.
Day 6
Explore and Experience the Winelands Full day private guided Stellenbosch Winelands Tour with lunch at Ernie Els Winery! Stellenbosch is world-famous for its wine and today is the perfect opportunity to visit the famous vineyards for a tasting (or two). Many are set within spectacular gardens and farmland and offer the opportunity to have a stroll.
Day 7
Depart for Hermanus and Play golf at Arabella Arabella Golf Course proudly ranks among South Africa’s top golfing destinations. Immerse yourself in pristine fairways, challenging sand traps, and thrilling water hazards. Designed by Peter Matkovich, it has been graced by celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson and golf legends Ernie Els and Gary Player.
The Par 72 Championship course consistently ranks in South Africa’s top 10.The 8th hole is hailed as one of the country’s most beautiful par 5s, while the 18th is a standout finishing hole.
After golf, we check-in at Arabella Hotel & Spa; located in the Kogelberg Biosphere, one of the world’s richest floral reserves, the Arabella Hotel, Golf & Spa welcomes visitors to explore the stunning natural surroundings, modern accommodation and wellness in a one-of-a-kind luxury Hermanus hotel.
Day 8
Depart for Gondwana After breakfast today, we depart for Gondwana Game Reserve; a magnificent 11,000-hectare private reserve in the heart of the Western Cape, Luxurious malaria-free safari holiday destination, where the Big Five roam freely across dramatic landscapes of fynbos-covered hills and valleys. Experience luxury safari lodges, thrilling game drives, and unparalleled wildlife encounters in a truly stunning setting.
Day 9
Gondwana Game Drives Activities include Big 5 game drives (2 per day), mountain biking, hikes, Africology spa treatments, and the popular Junior Ranger program.
Day 10
Depart for George and Play golf at Pinnacle Point Overlooking the Indian Ocean near Mossel Bay and designed by Peter Matkovich and 2011 Open Champion, Darren Clarke, Pinnacle Point is one of the most unique and scenic golf courses in the world. This Clifftop Fynbos Golf Course inspires the golfer to play this challenging layout with a level of respect due to its dramatic views and breathtaking terrain.
The 72 par layout is characterised by 7 majestic holes that line the Indian Ocean rock cliffs, four of which are played over ocean and cliff. All 18 holes have been designed to fit the contours of the land. After golf, we check-in at Fancourt, South Africa's Number One Luxury Golf & Spa Resort.
The offers three golf courses, a golfing academy, two pro-shops, four tennis courts, four swimming pools and a gym; other on-site activities include a tranquil spa featuring a heated Roman Bath and four restaurant/dining options.
Day 11
Play golf at Fancourt Outeniqua The Outeniqua golf course provides a relaxed and enjoyable golfing experience. While it offers a constantly changing terrain, it presents sufficient challenges to keep golfers engaged. This beautiful course is named after the mountains that paint its backdrop.
Day 12
Play golf at Fancourt LINKS The design of the course was modelled on the links courses of the British Isles and, unsurprisingly, Gary Player has described it as his greatest ever feat as a course designer. Ranked inside the World's Top 100 (#38) and 2nd in South Africa's Top 100.
Day 13
Play golf at Oubaai Estate Inaugurated in 2005 by Ernie Els, Oubaai Golf Club boasts expansive fairways that present golfers with enticing risk-and-reward scenarios.
Spanning 6,126 yards from the back tees, the course embodies a classic links design, providing a compelling test for all players. The signature hole, the Par three 17th, showcases the breathtaking Indian Ocean in the background. Tonight we meet for our Farewell 'Celebration' Dinner at the hotel.
Day 14
Tour ends at Fancourt Our Tour ends after breakfast at Fancourt. There are no activities planned today, just meet your departure transfer to George International Airport.
