Must-Do Activities on a Dubai Golf Holiday
Dubai is famed not only for its luxurious golf courses but also for its shopping at Dubai Mall, the Burj Khalifa fountain show, and The Walk at Jumeirah Beach with views of the Burj Al Arab. During my stay, the highlight was a Sunset Desert Safari, included in our Jumeirah Al Naseem & Jumeirah Beach golf holidays. Here’s a glimpse into this experience.
Hotel pickup is at 3:30 pm, allowing you to fit in a round of golf before heading out for your desert adventure. The journey starts with refreshing coconut water enjoyed straight from the coconut.
The exhilaration begins with dune bashing. It’s a wild ride through the desert dunes in a 4x4 that guarantees laughter and unforgettable memories.
At the desert camp, you can unwind and engage in various activities, including hookah, henna tattoos, and quad biking, or enjoy a slower pace with camel rides, all while dressed in traditional attire. The BBQ dinner awaits as you explore the camp's offerings.
I also tried sandboarding for the first time and found it to be an accessible introduction to the sport. As the sun set, I soaked in the serene desert landscape and watched a vibrant display of local song and dance before returning to our hotel.
This desert safari is a must on your Dubai golf holiday. For more information, visit our Jumeirah Al Neseem & Jumeirah Beach golf holiday pages. Our full range of luxury Middle East golf holidays can be found here.
